Tibetan Buddhism as a cultural phenomenon inherited for thousands of years,is a superstructure besed on thecer certain political and economic basis of Tibetan society,which will be counterproductive to society at a certain stage of development.Throughout history,it is not difficult to find that all kinds of Tibetan Buddhism "religious festivals",including the church,have served as a bridge between religion and the secular.As a representative religious festival,the Tibetan Buddhist "Law Society" plays an important role in the promotion and inheritance of Tibetan Buddhism and the infiltration of Tibetan Buddhism into all aspects of Tibetan secular life.Especially in the modern times,Tibetan Buddhism is impacted by multi-culture,the trend of secularization of religious festivals is highlighted,and the religious culture is counterproductive to the social,political,economic and cultural process,the "Tibetan Buddhist association" as a Buddhist festival has irreplaceable role.In this thesis,the Tibetan Buddhist religious festival "Law Society" is studied as an integral part of Tibetan society from the perspective of cultural anthropology and religious sociology.This thesis uses the basic theory of religious sociology,functional theory,comparative analysis,investigation and statistical analysis,participatory observation and other methods.The main research object is to analyze the traditional and contemporary functions of the Tibetan Buddhist Law Society,which is represented by the Gelden Monastery in the Yolggai County of Aba.To explore the development trend of Tibetan Buddhist Law Society in the contemporary secularization,the reasons and the current situation of traditional and new law society;This paper mainly analyzes the social function of the contemporary Tibetan Buddhist Society and discusses the comparison between the historical and contemporary functional changes and their root causes.
