Research On Vocabulary Of The Gangjiachang Dialect Of Gong’an

The research aims as the vocabulary of the Ganjiachang dialect in Gong’an county.Based on filed research,the Ganjiachang dialect phonological system and vocabulary list are sort out,the vocabulary of word-building and motivation in Ganjiachang dialect are analyzed,and the comparison between the vocabulary of Ganjiachang dialect and the vocabulary of mandarin are made.There are three word-building in Ganjiachang dialect: compounding,reduplication and affixation.Compounding include: combined type,modifying type,complement type,verb-object type,subject-verb type.Reduplication are nominal morpheme reduplication,verbal morpheme reduplication,adjective morpheme reduplication,and embedded reduplication.Affixation is divided into prefix and suffix that it is especially able to reflect the Ganjiachang dialect features is particularly rich and light tone.Word motivation are mainly determined by the attributes of the things themselves and the psychology of the society in which they are located.There are two ways of naming.One is a direct naming,the other is a euphemistically naming.From the perspective of synchronicity,we conduct a comparative analysis of Ganjiachang dialect vocabulary and Mandarin vocabulary.In terms of morphology,the difference of syllable: the Ganjiachang dialect is a monosyllable word and mandarin is a disyllabic word;the Ganjiachang dialect is a disyllabic word and mandarin is a monosyllable word;the Ganjiachang dialect is a disyllabic word and mandarin is a polysyllabic word;the Ganjiachang dialect is a polysyllabic word and mandarin is a disyllabic word.the difference in the number of morphemes,morphemes and their arrangement order: a part of the same morpheme,different morphemes,same morpheme but different order.In terms of lexical meanings,the rational meanings between the Ganjiachang dialect vocabulary and mandarin vocabulary are analyzed,and then the differences in praise and derogation meanings,color meanings and image meanings are analyzed.Finally,the thesis analyzes the differences in the conversion of words and collocations.Horizontal comparison with mandarin can help us to get better understanding the Ganjiachang dialect and learn better mandarin.
