A Study On The Phonology Of Xunwu Dialect In Jiangxi

The county is located in the south of Jiangxi province and is located in the junction of Jiangxi,Fujian and Guangdong provinces,and belongs to Ninglong tablet of hakka dialect.Of the seven counties included in Ninglong tablet,only one,Xunwu,is in a special area where the three provinces meet.In the Ninglong tablet of hakka dialect,also adjacent to Yuetai tablet of hakka dialect,the search for Xunwu dialect will inevitably have its unique phonetic appearance.This paper selects changning town as the representative point,systematically describes it from the synchronic plane description and the diachronic contrast with the middle ancient pronunciation,on this basis,it also arranges and analyzes the variant reading and tone linking of the text and the bai dialect,and reveals the characteristics of the wu dialect more comprehensively through the comparison with the meixian dialect.This paper consists of four parts,the content is as follows:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,this paper introduces the general situation of geographical population and historical evolution of the dialect,and sorts out the research status of the dialect and its surrounding dialects.Secondly,it elaborates on the research object,dialect and significance of this paper.Finally,it introduces the source of corpus and the situation of speakers.The first chapter is the description of the pronunciation system.First of all,through the investigation,the paper describes the monosyllabic sound,on the basis of this,the table of phonological coordination and the table of phonological coordination are arranged,in the part of monosyllabic tone,we us Harmonic difference analysis to analyse the voice type of entering tone.At the same time,the phenomenon is analyzed literary and colloquial readings from three aspects: initial,final and intonation.The second chapter contrast voice between ancient Chinese phonology and Xunwu dialect,and expounds the corresponding relations between them and probes into the evolution rules and characteristics of Xunwu dialect.The third chapter analyzes the tonal sandhi of two-character group in the search for Xunwu dialect,sorting out the rules and characteristics of tonal sandhi in thesearch for the dialect of Xunwu.Out of the 36 tone sandhi combinations,15 had a tonal sandhi,and there are nine modes of modulation.All of the key sandhi combinations belong to the former word sandhi,tone values do not change when all tone types are followed by words,and there is no tone change between the Falling-rising Tone and Entering ToneIn the fourth chapter,Xunwu dialect and Meixian dialect are compared from the perspective of sound and rhyme system,sortting out the similarities and differences between the two dialects.This two dialects have many similar phonetic features,reflecting the internal consistency of hakka dialect.But it can also be seen from the differences between the two dialects,they are in different positions in the development of hakka dialect,search for Xunwu dialect compared to Meixian dialect,Xunwu dialect in a more unstable state,evolving faster.
