A Study On The Phonology Of Zhaoxian Dialect In Hebei Province

Zhaoxian dialect was divided into shiji dialect piece of Jilu Mandarin.This paper takes the pronunciation of Zhaoxian dialect as the research object.The phonetic system of Zhaoxian dialect is described in detail by means of field investigation.On the basis of diachronic comparison,this paper summarizes the phonological characteristics of Zhaoxian dialect,reveals some rules in the evolution of Zhaoxian dialect pronunciation,and combines the actual use of Zhaoxian dialect to sort out and perfect the homophone list,and finally summarizes the characteristics of tone sandhi.This paper is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly involves the geographical location,population and historical evolution of Zhaoxian County,present situation of zhaoxian dialect research,research ideas,methods and research value,survey materials,pronunciation partner information and other basic information.The second part is the main body,which is divided into four chapters.The first chapter describes the phonetic system of Zhaoxian dialect at the synchronic level,in order to have a comprehensive understanding of Zhaoxian dialect.There are 23 initials,37 finals and 4 tones in Zhaoxian dialect.At the same time,the paper analyses the coordination of initias,finals and tones,and classifies the colloquial and literary readings according to initials and finals.Among them,the more systematic colloquial and literary readings are mainly concentrated on the ru tone of the dangjiangshe,zhenzenggengtongshe,and there are also some colloquial and literary readings of the yang rhymes of the shanzhenshe duanxi hekou sandeng,and there are differences between the new,the middle and the old schools in the colloquial and literary readings.The second chapter summarizes the phonological characteristics of Zhaoxian dialect through diachronic comparison.The initials are mainly manifested in the jiantuanyin,the confluence of zhizhuang zhang and the dichotomy of rimuzi.The finals are mainly reflected in the assignment of ru tone.At the same time,there is a trend of confluence between xianshanshe and xieshe,and there is also a trend of confluence between dangjiangshe andxiaoshe.The tone aspect is reflected in the assignment of the ancient qingru,which mainly merged with the ancient qingping as yinping.The third chapter is to perfect the homophone list.The fourth chapter summarizes the phenomenon of tone sandhi in Zhaoxian dialect.The tone sandhi of two-character group includes heavy tone and light tone.The latter yinping tone has been read as light tone.The light tone of Zhaoxian dialect can be divided into two categories,but the light tone of Zhaoxian dialect is not short and does not show obvious light tone.There are three main types of rhymes in erhua: increasing the retroflex voiced lateral,increasing the flash sound and changing the initial [l] into[?].In addition,in Zhaoxian dialect,there are some other phenomena of tone sandhi,such as epenthesis,assimilation,alienation,weakening,D-inflexion,suffix “zi” sound changes and combination.
