| Translation and Language Education: Pedagogic Approaches Explored,as a manifestation of the continuous integration of translation theory and other disciplines in recent years,is a major achievement of the latest research in the field of translation.The translation project not only provides reference materials for translation theory research and foreign language teaching in China,but also sharpens the understanding of the role of pedagogy translation in foreign language teaching and learning,and improves her personal translation skills.This project is jointly translated by the group,of whom the translator is responsible for the fourth,fifth and sixth chapters.Translation and Language Education: Pedagogic Approaches Explored belongs to the informative text with clear purposes.Therefore,Skopostheorie is chosen as the guide in translation practice,and the appropriate translation strategies are chosen under the guidance of three principles of Skopostheorie,put forward by Hans Vermeer,to achieve the functional purposes of texts so as to realize the research and translation value of the academic book.The original text in this report is analyzed from four aspects: lexical level,syntactic level,textual level and cultural level.At lexical level,the conversion and extension are analyzed;at syntactic level,the discussion are mainly on division,amplification,restructuring,and passive voice into active voice;at textual level,it is analyzed from reference and cohesion;at cultural level,analysis focuses on annotation.The process of translation not only deepens her understanding of translation theories,but also improves her ability to deal with translation problems.During the translation,the translator not only enriches her knowledge of translation and foreign language teaching,but also has a profound understanding of the translation process,and improves her translation skills.It is hoped that this project can provide references for translation theory research and foreign language learning and teaching in China. |
