| During the Anti-Japanese war,with the support from the Chinese government and all sections of society,all kinds of public and private vocational school or academy of the country gradually on the right track,appear a trend of development and growth.The Central Institute of Technology as the base camp of cultivating national industrial technology cadres,school foundation,school level or employment situation,must be the national public and private industrial vocational school leader.The Central Institute of Technology was born in the environment of foreign invasion and industrial need to development.In that case the Chinese government decide to establish a national model industrial school to cultivate industrial technology talents,revitalize the national industry to prepare all for a long war.After the birth of the Central Institute of Technology,went through three times school moving,finally settled in Shimenkan,Shapingba,Chongqing.After the Anti-Japanese War succeed,the Central Institute of Technology stayed in Chongqing,has undergone takeover and department adjustment,eventually merged into colleges and universities,16 years of school-running to the end.The Central Institute of Technology has always been committed to cultivating excellent industrial and technical talents,promoting country’s industrial development and expanding industrial vocational education.In order to suit the situation of wartime,the Central Institute of Technology increased cooperation with government agencies and factories,took a chance to increase departments,conduct short-term training courses,assist in social education.After continuous development and growth,the Central Institute of Technology gradually developed into a well-known industrial institution that the public and private industrial vocational schools in the country,with the most complete department,with various levels and forms of education and distinctive features.The Central Institute of Technology’s school-running practices and “ZhongGong Mode” had a profound effect on the exploring vocational education,promoting industrial development and nation-building.On the one hand,The Central Institute of Technology as a model of industrial vocational schools,had put forward the theory of industrial vocational education with Chinese characteristics and realistic to provided an enlightenment for the development mode of vocational education,promoted the cause of vocational education in China.At the same time,the principle to school-running of “hands and brain both use,practice as a teaching,teaching by precept and example,comprehensive development ”,corrected the shortcomings of "graduation equal unemployment" and derail reality in traditional vocational education,reversed the inherent prejudices of vocational education to the world.On the other hand,school teaching atmosphere of advocating strict hard-working and adhering to the excellent quality of the "diligence,caution,patriotism and loyalty" school motto,has cultivated a large number of industrial talents who are diligent,hardworking,capable and grown into the backbone and facilitator of their respective fields,contributing suggestions for national industrial construction and social development. |
