Research On The Performance Of Zhang Zhao’s Piano Solo "Chinese Dream"

"Chinese Dream "is an excellent piano work with national characteristics and the spirit of The Times created by Zhang Chao in 2014.The whole music is divided into six sections:nostalgia,praise,pursuit,disaster,revival and longing.Mr.Zhang Chao used a large number of materials with traditional Chinese music characteristics,such as bianzhong elements and guqin elements,and integrated the western trilogy structure with the structure of Chinese songs and dances in the Sui and Tang Dynasties.In this paper,the author’s master’s graduation concert piece"China Dream" as the object mainly from three aspects of the work will be analyzed and studied.First,to understand the composer’s life,creative style and the creative background of "China Dream";Secondly,with the musical connotation of the works as a starting point,the application and development of musical elements such as"chime chords",Guqin elements,Sui and Tang songs and dances in the works are analyzed and studied.Finally,from the music mood,melody,timbre imitation,speed,the charm of the work and other aspects of the work in the performance of some difficulties,and combined with my own practice and performance experience,summarize the corresponding solutions.
