In Russia in the 19th century,the capitalist trend has appeared gradually,people's normal life have been revolutionary movement thoroughly disrupt many times,while the Russian national music sent in the true sense to the Russian national music towards another clear avenue,composers have absorbed the essence,so many literature works of art into creation.It has rebuilt the prestige of the nation and greatly enriched the spiritual life of the people.Tchaikovsky is an outstanding music master in the Russian music circle in the 19th century.Dumka is one of the few titles of Tchaikovsky's piano compositions.Translated into Russian as "to think,to meditate," the work was written in the 1880s,in the middle and later period of Tchaikovsky's work,which was a brilliant period for Tchaikovsky's works.In this work,Tchaikovsky studied Slavic ballads,sometimes expressing sad and melancholy emotions,and sometimes presenting a colorful vision.The bright contrast of light and shade,overflowing of the construction of a deep in the heart of the musical tone This paper will elaborate on Tchaikovsky's dumka from the two aspects of national musical characteristics and performance skills.That is,it will explore the Russian national elements in the whole work,including the rhythm,melody,and tonality.And combined with their own performance,including the touch of the keys,rhythm,pedal use,inner hearing to describe.
