Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninov is the greatest pianist,composer,and conductor of the Twenty World.As a Russian musician,he devoted himself to the creation of traditional Russian music in the torrent of Western Romanticism,and his work formed his own unique creative characteristics.Not only that,the performance of Rachmaninoff's piano works also needs to be detailed,and the method is different from the performance of ordinary works.The piano work "Prelude" Op.23 No.5 is its famous work.The work combines romantic creative techniques with traditional Russian music elements to form a unique Russian piano work,which has attracted worldwide attention once it was published.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the characteristics,research purpose,status quo and value of the work.The second chapter introduces Rachmaninoff himself and the creative background of this work.The third chapter focuses on the musical structure and creative techniques of the work.The fourth chapter studies the playing method of this work.The characteristic of this article is that by studying the classic works of Rachmaninoff,starting from the two parts of theory and performance,drawing the cocoon and peeling the silk,showing the essence of this work to the world,so that The work can be more comprehensively understood by the performers and listeners.
