The Yuanling Xianghua dialect is mainly distributed in the counties and townships around the Yuanling County.Yuanling Xianghua dialect is different from Xiang dialect and southwest Mandarin,and is not a branch of minority language,but belongs to Chinese endangered dialect.At present,the attribution of the local dialect is unknown,and the study of local dialect is mainly focused on phonetics,while the study of grammar is mainly focused on affix,preposition and other aspects.Therefore,based on Qingshuiping village in Wusu,Yuanling County,this paper makes an investigation on the grammar phenomena of Wusu Xianghua dialect.Chapter one:Introduction.This paper mainly introduces the basic situation of the dialect of Yuanling County,the present situation of the study of the dialect,the phonological system of Qingshuiping dialect in Yuanling County,the research contents and methods of this paper,the source of the language materials and the illustration of the style.Chapter 2:Nouns.The affix"Zai"in Xianghua dialect is a typical diminutive marker,which can be attached to nouns to denote diminutives,or to quantifiers to denote diminutives.Other affixes,such as"Tou","?[n?0]","?[?i?0]","?[ku0]",also have prominent functions in the local dialect.In addition,the expressions of locality and word order of animal nouns in Yuanling County dialect are discussed.Chapter 3:Verbs and Adjectives.This chapter mainly introduces the reduplication and the different tenses of verb,such as complete tense,already state,experience state,continuous state and progressive state.The verb"de"in the Xianghua dialect has a variety of functions.It not only retains the meaning of"get"as a general verb,but also can be placed before the predicate component as a modal verb,and can also be in the complement position to indicate the degree or possibility.In addition,this chapter also introduces the reduplication and other degree expressions of adjectives.Chapter 4:Numerals and Quantifiers.The numerals"two"and"three"have two different expressions."two"can be read as"?[?uo35]"and"?[212]".The former mainly represents the cardinalty,the latter mainly represents the ordinal number."three"can be read as"?[suo55]"and"?[s?55]".The former mainly represents the cardinalty,the latter mainly represents the ordinal number.However,"two"and"three"can overlap in some cases.In addition,the quantifier"Tiao"and"?[p?53]"are both general quantifiers in Xianghua dialect,and can be used with all kinds of things.However,"?[p?53]"is evolved from particle quantifiers,so it often has a diminutive function when it is used with nouns.Chapter 5:Adverbs.This chapter focuses on the adverbs"Bu","Ying","Jin","Jishi".The"Bu[p?212]"in Xianghua dialect has the functions of both subjective negation and objective negation,and overlaps with the borrowed negative word"Bu[pu212]"in some functions.As an modal adverb,"Ying"mainly highlights different mood.The word"Jin"is often used as a time adverb before a verb to indicate the continuation of an action and to highlight the speaker`s disssatisfaction."Jishi"in Xianghua dialect which express a luck mood has derived the use of modal adverbs from the adjective and time adverb.Chapter 6:Pronouns.This chapter discusses the personal pronouns,interrogative pronouns and demonstrative pronouns in Yuanling Xianghua dialect in detail.Due to different word orders,the demonstratives will express different functions:the preposition of the universal singular demonstratives and the diminutive demonstratives can express the definite,generic and topic functions,the postposition can express generic and topic functions.Chapter 7:Prepositions and Conjunctions.This chapter introduces the preposition and conjunction functions of the five words"Gen","?[t?33]","?[k?u35]","Dau"and"Yau"in the local dialect."Gen"and"?[t?33]"in Xianghua dialect are typical disposal markers."Gen","?[k?u35]"and"Yau"follow a similar path of grammaticalization,and have been derived coordinating conjunction from comitative preposition.Chapter 8:Auxiliary Words.In this chapter,the auxiliary words of Xianghua dialect are divided into three types:structural auxiliary word,dynamic auxiliary word and modal particle.and this chapter introduces the basic situation and characteristics of these auxiliary words.Chapter 9:Syntax Research.This chapter mainly introduces the basic usage of interrogative sentence,disposal sentence,passive sentence,double object sentence and comparative sentence.Chapter 10:Conclusion.This chapter is the basic understanding of the full text and the lack of research.
