This article uses the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University to analyze the 37 most commonly used first-level monosyllabic adjectives in "Syllabary Classification of Syllable Chinese Characters for International Education in China" from three aspects: form, meaning, and syntax. The errors of monosyllabic adjectives are investigated, and it is found that the most prone to morphology is the error of close synonyms;the meaning of words is the most prone to misinterpretation(that is,the confusion with synonyms or morphemes);the syntax The most prone to rhythm and misrepresentation. Not only that,we also explored the possible reasons behind the use of monosyllable adjectives by foreign students, including negative transfer of mother tongue, generalization of target language rules, reasons for teacher textbooks, and inappropriate learning or communication strategies. Finally, according to the reasons for errors, teaching suggestions such as the principle of gradual progress, the principle of morpheme teaching, the principle of intensified contrastive analysis, the principle of collocation teaching, the emphasis on the rhythm principle, and the principle of increasing oral training are proposed.
