Social Work Intervention In The Spiritual Solace Problems Of Elderly People Living Alone In Urban Area

Sixth national census data show that China's population aged 60 and above is 178 million,accounting for 13.26% of the population,our old home in situation andpresents the new trend,families with elderly people aged 60 and above of 122941578 households,including single elderly households more than 18.24 million households,accounts for 14.84% of the elderly households.This a family called old people live alone for the elderly living alone,relative to the material needs,the spirit of urban old people who live alone needs more intense,they generally lack of emotional and spiritual comfort problems to be solved.In 2013,"go home often" is written in law,it is shows that the elderly spiritual comfort has to the attention of the countries,need to get the attention of the society from all walks of life.But currently USES more institutions endowment and community endowment,pension that occupy the home,can only focus on the basic material life,it is too hard to go deep into the spiritual.In Wugang C community in Henan province as an example,this paper analyze the spiritual comfort of old people who live alone,and try to use the professional social work method,selecting the representative community old people who live alone on an intervention,explore the way to solve the problem of urban old people who live alone spiritual solace.Research shows that: with its professional social work value concept and method,to deal with the problem of city solitary old man's spiritual solace can obtain other methods can't results.According to the specific situation of the service object,and activity theory as the leading factor,supplemented by an empty chair reasonable expression skills,homework,play therapy and animal-assisted therapy method,and social work of professional and suitability of the service strategy,can change the service object of curing thinking and deviant behavior.Perspective on the theory of energized to the community as the platform,through mining the service object of the surrounding resources,establish the social support network,can achieve better help old people who live alone alleviate the pressure of the life,meet the spiritual needs,enhance their ability to cope with the crisis and make up for the family emotional loss of purpose.Optionally and the object of this study is on the discussion of "corner" in,but the author's intention is "one time".Old people who live alone,there is a special spiritual problem,though,but also a general,many old people who live alone belongs to the existence of the universal spiritual needs.Therefore,this study not only can provide Henan Wugang C community old people who live alone with professional help,can also be for a broader range of pension pattern are discussed to provide ideas and material.At the same time,the social work intervention city solitary old man mental comfort problems of professional,scientific and effective,government and academia should pay attention to.
