Research On Yancheng's Strategy Of Prioritizing Public Transportation

With the rapid development of our society and economy,the integration of urban and rural is greatly accelerated.It features with rural urbanization,motorization,rising urban population and increasing exchanges between different areas,leading to a batch of problems including jammed cities.It is well-proven that if we give priority to public transportation,the pressure could be effectively relieved.Our administration is able to use scientific policies and its efficiency to guarantee the sustainable development of public transportation by taking advantage of its public-interest and non-profit-orientation,truly serving the improvement of people's well-being.By adopting the research methods of document research,comparative study and interview,my thesis is subjected to research Yancheng's strategy of prioritizing public transportation.In order to do this,I have collected the first-hand information of this strategy and have applied the theories of public goods,governmental public service,public governance.Taking Yancheng's development into consideration,I have elaborated on proceeding of this strategy including planning,layout,infrastructure,funding and service and have analyzed the problems as well as its reasons during its public transportation evolution,thus I bring up the necessity of this strategy.The thesis fully uses best practices from home and abroad,putting forward its priority in concerning regulations,smart planning,infrastructure and public involvement.Therefore,it could really facilitate Yancheng urban transportation and then build a model as prioritizing public transportation featured smartness,quality and happiness with Yancheng characteristics.
