The scale of China's urbanization rapidly expand,levels rise sharply,accompanied with the increased number of motorized vehicles and the force of city road and traffic environment deterioration.In practice of the development of the main foreign city,to reduce dependence on private transportation and to preferentially develop the public transport was used to the maximum extent to meet the travel needs of residents and to solve city traffic problems.Since Lanzhou,the only "large confrontation between two mountains,a water stream,the railway section" city,was restricted by natural environment,city development space is limited and the development of the city road construction is lagging.In recent years,as the number of motor vehicles increased dramatically,resulting in the city road traffic congestion and problem to become more and more prominent,the problem of traffic congestion has plagued the development of Lanzhou city.Meanwhile,for the problems,like single structure,limited policy support,the lagging infrastructure,and low sharing travel rate,exists in Lanzhou city public traffic,an urgent development needs to be accelerated.This thesis is based on the current and the characteristics of the development of road transportation in Lanzhou City,the existing problems in the development of public transport,road transport management business based their work on the basis of the analysis,problems,proposed the question,the logic structure to solve the problem,the use of public organization strategy,public policy and other related theories,starting from the property quasi public products of city public transportation,clear features,the role of public transit,introduces the typical city "world public transport priority" development experience,analysis of Lanzhou city public transportation development present situation and the demand,and puts forward four development strategies of Lanzhou city public transportation " system construction,space,traffic supply,demand management guide",and "planning guidance,sustainable infrastructure,public transportation optimization,policy support,the support of science and technology,comprehensive management"six measures and suggestions in order to perfect,better public transport system in Lanzhou city.
