With the guidance and support of the state for the elderly,the concept of "active aging" has gradually entered people's lives.With the development trend of social work specialization in China,more and more elders are participating in volunteer service because of the leadership and organization of social workers.The purpose of this paper is to explore how to manage the volunteer team of the elderly from the perspective of social work,and to find out the corresponding countermeasures for the management problems of the volunteer team,so as to promote the good development of the volunteer team.This paper takes FY Street Comprehensive Elderly Volunteer Team as a sample,collects a lot of reference materials through literature collation.Through case interviews and participatory observation,the author focuses on the dilemma of the development process of elderly volunteer team,and makes problems analysis and puts forward relevant suggestions.The research finds that there are still some problems in the management development of the elderly volunteer team.Firstly,the training effect is not good and the service quality is not high.Secondly,the community participation of volunteers lags behind and fails to propel the development of community construction.Thirdly,the community volunteer service is not carried out smoothly,and there are always difficulties in the service process.Finally,the elderly volunteers can not effectively self-management and self-development.Research shows that professional volunteer service is the "lubricant" for the healthyoperation of society.In order to promote effective community governance and make the elderly volunteer team develop well,the author puts forward relevant suggestions on the dilemma of its management development process.First of all,we need to strengthen the effective training of the elderly volunteers.Secondly,we should improve the standardized management system of elderly volunteers.The third is to improve professional management awareness and ensure the quality of volunteer service.Fourthly,we need to advocate the overall deepening of people-oriented,self-help concept of social workers,and actively promote the self-management and self-development of elderly volunteers.
