In the modern world,Sino-Russian relations are the most important indicators of the situation in the whole world.Sino-Russian relations have always been the subject of research by many scientists in various fields of activity.In this regard,it becomes necessary to formulate new theoretical and practical approaches and methods in studying the international educational cooperation between China and Russia.As cooperation between the two countries develops,close cooperation in the field of education should be noted not only because of the common border,but also given the important role of humanitarian ties.In this regard,it seems important and advisable to study the educational cooperation between Russia and China in terms of the effectiveness of acad emic mobility and the internationalization of education.For analysis,the author chose such a segment of Russian-Chinese educational cooperation as the import of higher education services from China to the Russian Federation.The rapid development of the economy of education was a consequence of the fact that the concept of "education" went far beyond the direction of investment or the market for services and turned into an independent branch of the economy.If we define the branch of the economy as a qualitatively homogeneous set of enterprises,institutions and other economic units,characterized by common or similar working conditions,professional composition of personnel,functions performed and manufactured products,then the educational sector is e asily classified as a system of educational institutions.Thus,given the arguments presented,it seems important to complete the following steps: 1)The process of the formation of education as a sphere of economics in world scientific thought is considered.2)Various theoretical approaches to education as an economic sphere are considered.3)The features of education as an area of the global economy are analyzed.4)The criteria for assessing the effectiveness of international educational cooperation that are suitable for the present study are formulated.5)The author developed criteria for assessing the economic efficiency of importing Chinese higher education services to Russia.6)The dynamics of the volume and condition of the Russian-Chinese educational services market is analyzed.7)The assessment of the current state and volume of the Russian-Chinese market for educational services.8)The degree of demand for Chinese higher education by the Russian labor market is estimated.Thus,thanks to the consistent solution to all of the above problems,the goal of the was achieved,namely,the import of Chinese higher education services in the Russian Federation was evaluated.
