| More and more old junkmens appear in the streets of the city,people pay more attention to this group.The reason for the gradual expansion of the old junkmens population is diversity,some elderly people choose to pick up waste for the purpose of finding something to do,and achieve the dual purpose of physical exercise and income increase;others,because of the lack of basic security of life,their children do not have the ability to fully support the elderly,so that these elderly people can only rely on the meagre income from scavenging to meet the needs of basic daily life.For old people who choose to collect waste for whatever purpose,they all face the problems of poor health environment,lack of emotional comfort and social exclusion need us to trace back to the source,that is,only by exploring the real needs of the old junkmens and having a more comprehensive understanding of their needs characteristics,can we fundamentally solve the problem of protection of the rights and interests of the old junkmens and social support,so as to maintain social harmony and stability.This study focuses on the needs of the old junkmens in Hohhot.Through interviews and observation,the basic situation of the old junkmens and their needs are described,and the five aspects of physiology,belonging and love,safety,respect and self-realization are discussed.The demand characteristics of the old junkmens are analyzed,and the relevant paths to meet the needs of the old junkmens are put forward.Based on the actual situation of the old junkmens,the author uses the practical method of case work from the perspective of social work,guided by the theory of active aging and the theory of increasing energy,records the changes of the victim through talks and observations,and evaluates the various stages of service to prove the effect of case work intervention,in order to provide experience and inspiration for the future application of social work model to the problem of urban old junkmens' needs. |
