Application Of Social Work In Family Support Mode In SOS Children's Village

As a special child welfare agency,SOS Children's Village adopts the family support model to regroup the children who have no direct guardian and a professional mother into a brand new family,providing a good growth and education for children who have lost their original family.With the passage of time,the children's village family support model faces new dilemmas and needs.On the one hand,the instability of family relations,the lack of family education,the children's growth environment needs to be optimized,and on the other hand,the family members are the center.Lack of social support,social integration difficulties,and third-party assistance is needed.This study uses the SOS Children's Village family support model as a platform to conduct project design from the perspectives of ecosystem theory,social support theory,and social integration theory,and implements and discusses family education,family relations,social support,and social integration.The preliminary investigation of the project,the implementation of project service activities,the mid-term and final evaluation of the project,the project summary and reflection are discussed in detail.Through the intervention of social work,SOS Children's Village has gradually improved its own work coordination mechanism,and the social work elements have gradually penetrated into the hearts of service objects,families,communities and volunteers to form a harmonious family and social worker culture.SOS Children's Village can be involved in the normalization and institutionalization of social work and is conducive to long-term follow-up services for children and families.
