The development of vocational education in Yunnan during the period of the Republic of China has its own motives.Its practice has its own characteristics.Inspecting vocational education in Yunnan during the period of the Republic of China is of great significance to the study of enriching the history of Chinese education.It can also bring about the development of vocational education in Yunnan.Some inspiration and reference.In modern China,vocational education experienced the Westernization Movement and the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty,laying the foundation for the development of vocational education during the period of Republic of China.The vocational education in Yunnan in the late Qing Dynasty paved the way for the Republic of China.During the period of Republic of China,the political,economic and military factors in Yunnan drove the development of vocational education.From 1912 to 1927,the development of vocational education in Yunnan was slow,but it also made some achievements.The dissertation first presents the appearance of vocational education in Yunnan from a macro perspective,and then analyzes the development of vocational education in Yunnan from the microscopic perspectives such as the scale and distribution of running a school,the purpose of running a school,and the curriculum setting.From 1928 to 1945,under the promotion of a series of vocational education policies and measures,vocational education in Yunnan has developed rapidly.This article first sorts out the context of the development of vocational education in Yunnan during this period.Based on its own unique elements of vocational education,it focuses on the development of the two provincial vocational schools,and then focuses on the selection of educational funding,teacher-student groups,and subject setting.The analysis can thus present a good overview of the development of vocational education in Yunnan during this period.In addition,the paper combines the points and focuses on the Yunnan cooperation in education and special education during the period of the Anti-Japanese War,and focuses on the analysis of the vocational education practice carried out by the China Vocational Education Society in Yunnan.During the period of the Republic of China,the development of vocational education in Yunnan showed its own characteristics.This paper discusses three aspects: vocational education actively adapting to social and economic development,the overall scale of running a school less than other education at the same level,andunbalanced development.The development of vocational education in Yunnan during the Republic of China has provided lessons for the development of vocational education in Yunnan.It is worth learning from such aspects as increasing investment in education funds,optimizing the layout and professional structure of vocational education,and strengthening the construction of the ranks of teachers.
