Research On The Policy Of Studying Abroad Education In Yunnan During The Republic Of China

During the period of Republic of China,the education of studying abroad in Yunnan had cultivated a lot of outstanding talents for the process of Yunnan's modernization,which that not only provided the talent guarantee for the construction of Yunnan province,but also reserved the talents for the construction of the whole country.Meanwhile,the policy that leaded the direction for development and reformation of Yunnan's studying abroad education in the Republic of China had been constantly adjusted and improved.Therefore,this paper will comprehensively comb the evolution process of Yunnan abroad studying education in this period based on analyseing the relevant historical materials,summarizing the characteristics of those studying abroad policies.In addition,the problems of overseas education policies are summed up.Comparing with the problems existing in the morden society,some enlightenments are finally put forward to make the past serve the present,in the paper.From the historical perspective,the overseas education policies in the Republic of China are systermatically combed and reviewed with the combination of historical research method and comparative research method.Besides,they are analysed from kinds dicipline persperctives united with education,policy science and etc.This study consists of five parts:The first mainly expounds the reason,purpose and significance of the research,definites and overviews the related concepts and related research fields,and discuss the the research ideas and methods and self evaluation of the innovation points and limitations in this thesis.The second part presents the evolution process of overseas education policies in the course of history and the implementation situation in the Republic of China,by analysing selection and dispatch policy,funds allocation policy and overseas students management policy of abroad studying education.The third part analyses the financial assistance policy of Yunnan internal over-provinces studing education in the Republic of China.The beginning of fourth part summarized the characteristics of Yunnan overseas education policies shown from different dimensions.The later part draws some inspiration for contructing improved policy system of overseas education and promoting the mordenization of it,based on the reality of contemporary Chineseabroad studying and learned from the historical experience of Yunnan overseas education policies in the Republic of China.Generally speaking,the development of education is restricted by various factors.Thus the development of Yunnan overseas education policies in the period of the Republic of China is no exception.During that period,those policies had been constantly developed and improved,with their own characteristics formed and deficiencies exposed.Most of these problems are still leading to much further thinking.
