A Study Of Chinese Government Responsibility For Promoting Educational Equity In Private Universities

The education of private colleges and universities has been produced developed for several decades.It has met the needs of the national development,was provided more educational opportunities for the educated in our country,and played an indelible role in improving the quality of the nation and cultivating the social needs.The emergence and development of private colleges and universities has promoted the development of higher education in China and promoted the reform of higher education system in China.Private college education has become an inseparable part of higher education in China.Although private universities have made some achievements in recent years,they still face difficulties.In many aspects of unfair treatment,such as private colleges and universities can not solve the problems of funds,land,teachers,enrolment and other aspects,resulting in private colleges and universities can not achieve educational equity.In order to realize the problem of educational equity,in addition to the efforts of private colleges and universities,the government should bear certain responsibilities,what responsibility the government should bear,how the government can carry out the responsibility of promoting the equity of private colleges and universities,and so on.This paper focuses on the government responsibility of promoting the education equity of private colleges and universities,and uses the methods of literature analysis and investigation and comparison to study the government's responsibility to promote the education equity of private colleges and universities in China.First of all,the paper defines the concept of education,educational equity and government responsibility in private colleges and universities,and then expounds the basic theories of public goods,educational equity and government responsibility.Secondly,from the aspects of policies and regulations,financial support and management system,this paper expounds the present situation of government governance in private colleges and universities in the practice of educational equity.Thirdly,it studies and analyzes the dilemma of government governance in the implementation of educational equity in private colleges and universities,and concludes that the government's governance concept is obsolete,government governance policy is missing,government governance financial aid is insufficient,and government governance and supervision are difficult.Finally,according to the relevant theories and the basic conditions of our country,the author puts forward the responsibility of the government to promote the education of private colleges and universities to achieve educational equity.It is mainly reflected in: first,change the concept of fairness and re position the education of private colleges and universities.second,improve policies and regulations,and promote the education of private colleges and universities to achieve fairness.Third,increase financial support and guide social capital to invest in private higher education.Four,strengthen the supervision of fair and effective results and improve the education level of private colleges and universities.
