Objective:This study takes "the influence of functional strength training on the sensitive quality of boxing athletes" as the research object,and takes 16 students from the 2016 Boxing Special Project of Beijing Sport University Education College as the experimental object.Exploring whether functional strength training can effectively improve the sensitive qualities of boxers provides a theoretical and practical reference for future boxing training practices.Methods: This study used the literature data method,expert interview method,experimental method and mathematical statistics method to carry out experimental research on the influence of functional strength training on the development of boxing athletes' sensitive quality.Result:1.Through group comparison,after 8 weeks of experimental intervention,the test indicators of the two groups of athletes have improved to varying degrees.There were significant differences in the experimental group's hexagonal jump,T-test,half-meter three-way slide and Y-shaped dodge group for functional strength training(P<0.01).The control group with traditional strength training had a significant difference in the hexagonal jump(P<0.05),and the half-meter three-way had a very significant difference(P<0.01).There were no significant differences between the other two indicators,T-test and Y-shaped dodge(P>0.05).2.Through the comparison between groups,the experimental group using functional strength training and the control group using traditional strength training had significant differences after the experiment(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Functional strength training can improve the performance of boxers' hexagon jump,t-test,half-meter three-way sliding step and y-shape dodge,which is helpful to improve the coordination of boxers,the ability to change direction and the ability to change movements,so as to improve the agility of boxers.2.Traditional strength training improves boxing athletes' performance in hexagon jump,t-test,three-way half-meter slide and y-shape dodge to different degrees,which is helpful to improve boxing athletes' coordination,ability to change direction and ability to change movements,but functional training has more significant effects.
