In order to promote the promotion of professional identity of primary and secondary school teachers in rural areas of Yueyang County,this study uses literature,questionnaire and interview methods,and analyzes the status quo of professional identity of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Yueyang County from the four dimensions of professional values,behavior tendencies,sense of professional belonging and role values,combined with the quantitative analysis of questionnaires and qualitative analysis of interviews,and analyzes the factors of professional identity of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools in Yueyang County.Through the quantitative analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire,the results of this survey are as follows: First,the professional identity of primary and secondary school teachers in Rural Primary and Secondary School in Yueyang County is at a medium level,among which,the professional identity score of male teachers is significantly lower than that of female teachers,the behavioral tendency and professional belonging sense score of teachers under 30 years of age is significantly lower than that of teachers aged 40-50 years,and the teacher's tendency,professional belonging and role value score are significantly higher than that of other teachers of teaching age.Second,the factor analysis summarizes the working environment,professional literacy,social recognition,personal development and other factors affecting teachers' professional identity,the relevant analysis shows that the influence factors and teachers' professional identity and its four dimensions are significantly positively related,and further regression analysis shows that professionalism has a significant impact on teachers' professional identity and its four dimensions,the working environment has a significant impact on professional attribution,and social recognition has a significant impact on role values.According to the above research results,in order to improve the professional identity of primary and secondary school teachers in rural Yueyang County,the following suggestions are put forward from the individual,school and management departments: First,individuals strengthen their own learning;Second,schools form a good working environment;Third,the education authorities optimize the educational ecology;and the fourth,government increase funding.
