As one of the five subject competitions,national senior school biology competition can be classified as an elite education,and the training of biology competition is the extension and supplement of regular course.To train and select outstanding students through the competition and related activities,then they can continue to be the players in the international subject competition,and provide the reserve force for the development of the science cause of our country;on the other hand,the research on subject basic education among provinces and cities can be strengthened by holding domestic Olympic competitions at all levels.There are few related aspects of Item analysis in domestic research content,and the general content is outmoded.The study of the characteristics of biology competition test questions,to discover problems,and to Discuss the problem,It's helpful to promote the development of biology competition,so that biology competition can really play its important significance.This paper mainly analyze the test questions of national senior school biology competition(provincial division),aiming at obtaining the change of knowledge points,the distribution of ability and the characteristics of the presentation mode of topic materials through the analysis and statistical data of national senior school biology competition(provincial division)in the past ten years,and puts forward some strategies for the development and teaching process of the competition.In the end of this paper,author provides the teaching case for reference.The results of the analysis of the test questions show that:on the content point of view,the score among the four modules is balanced,and the scores of the four modules are basically less fluctuating in the past ten years,some specific subjects are changing,and the general trend is to change more from the memory content to the more thoughtful content.From the analysis of the ability of the examination,the examination of the simple book content has decreased,while the proportion of the comprehension type and the application type has increased.On the point of view of the topic presentation mode,in recent years,more attention has been paid to the analysis and comprehensive judgment of the complex situation,and the requirements for the ability to obtain information have increased.Based on the results of test paper analysis and questionnaire,this paper puts forward some suggestions:from the point of view of competition organizers,we should pay attention to the innovation of questions,continue to strengthen the proportion of comprehension and application questions,and the presentation mode and situation of questions can be more diversified.From the point of view of front-line competition tutor,we should change the teaching mode,pay more attention to the training of thinking ability,and strengthen the cultivation of Self-study ability.
