In 2014,the Ministry of Education put forward the concept of "core literacy" for the first time in "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening the Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Lide-Shuren".Accordingly,through many discussions and practical changes in academia,five b asic core qualities including the quality of image reading,the quality of art performan ce,the quality of aesthetic judgment,the quality of creative practice and the quality of cultural understanding have been refined in the field of arts.the introduction of the new curriculum standard of fine arts in senior high school also took these five aspects of the core quality of fine arts discipline as the training goal of the new curriculum,and made a relevant elaboration on the core quality of fine arts.How to adapt to the trend of "core literacy" and implement it in art classroom teaching has become an urgent problem to be solved at every stage of school education.Image reading ability,the most accomplishment of art core literacy,which require student not only to learn to analyze the surface meaning of works,but also to help students interpret the emotional expression behind artists,and then express their thoughts and feelings by means of art formal language.Nowadays,with the rapid development of visual information,the indispensable link in people's daily life,work and study is "reading pictures",whose image culture has aroused people's re-recognition of the world.Thus,the importance of "image literacy" in students'learning and life,so it is necessary,feasible and implementable to carry out the research of "core literacy" in junior high school art classroom teaching through "image literacy.This paper draws lessons from the case analysis of core literacy education at home and abroad,and combines with the textbook content of "concise visual symbols,logo design" in the eight grade of the first grade textbook of grade seven of the PEP textbook,through the investigation,literature,theory and practice,to study junior high school art teaching materials and junior high school art courses.Standards and new curriculum standards of Fine Arts in senior high school aiming at cultivating core literacy,collation of relevant literature materials,combined with specific classroom teaching examples,this paper explores the classroom teaching research of realizing core literacy based on "image reading" in junior high school art classroom teaching.
