Research On Income Status And Its Influencing Factors Of Floating Population In Liaoning Province

Since the 1980 s,cross-regional population mobility has become a more and more common phenomenon and trend.The Statistical bulletin of National Economic and social Development points out that in 2019,the number of people living in separate households has reached 280 million,among which the total floating population is 236 million,accounting for 16.86% of the total population.The income of the floating population is closely related to people's lives,social development and economic growth,and is also an important part of China's efforts to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and its modernization drive.As a relatively developed province in northeast China,Liaoning provides employment opportunities for its population and also attracts the inflow of labor force from other provinces.Due to the influence of economic factors,the population movement across cities and counties in Liaoning province is also more frequent,but the outflow of population has increased rapidly in recent years.Based on the inflow and outflow of the population in Liaoning Province,this paper analyzes the characteristics and differences of their income status,and further clarifies the specific factors affecting the income level of the floating population,which is conducive to promoting the income level and living standard of the floating population in Liaoning Province,and provides reference for the government to strengthen the management and service of the floating population.In this paper,the data of the dynamic monitoring survey of floating population in Liaoning province in 2015 released by the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the data of Statistical yearbook of Liaoning Province and the database of China Economic Network over the years were used to analyze therelevant problems of floating population and their income status in Liaoning Province.First of all,the relevant definition of the floating population and theoretical analysis.Second,explores the basic characteristics of the floating population in liaoning province and its income,on the basis of the specific size of the floating population in liaoning province,respectively on the individual characteristics of the floating population,human capital characteristics,job characteristics,flow characteristics,four aspects are studied,and the inflow and outflow of population expansion,the quantitative analysis of different characteristics of the floating population in liaoning province on the income difference.At the same time,using descriptive statistics method,in-depth analysis of the floating population in liaoning province the influence factors of income level,individual characteristics including gender,age,nationality,household type,marriage,the reasons for the situation and the flow of human capital characteristics including level and total flow time of record of formal schooling,job characteristics including the type of work,the work unit,is engaged in the industry,such as flow characteristics including flow range and geographical distribution of indicators.Again,according to the results of descriptive statistics analysis,stepwise regression to establish a number of Logistics model,the effect of further analysis of various factors on the earnings of the floating population and its influence degree,the results show that the individual characteristics of the floating population in liaoning province,the characteristics of human capital and employment characteristics of the impact on the income level of the floating population is significant.Specifically,in terms of individual characteristics,gender,nationality,age,marital status and other factors will have a greater impact on the income of floating population;In terms of human capital characteristics,the improvement of educational level can significantly improve the income of floating population;In terms of employment characteristics,the difference of job position,nature of work unit and industry also leads to the difference of income of floating population.In terms of mobility characteristics,the range and region of mobility will not significantly affect the income level of floating population.Finally,according to the result of empirical model,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to further improve the income of the floating population in liaoning province,including strengthening the education and training,deepening the reform of household registration,and promote social integration of the floating population and the equalization of public service,guide and encourage self-employment,accelerate the circulation of employment information and optimize the environment of the labor market and so on,in order to better to increase the income of the floating population in liaoning province,promoting the construction of the new urbanization provide certain reference and reference.
