Curriculum reform of Chinese language teaching has long been the priority of priorities.However,in the previous reforms,first-line teachers and researchers tend to pay more attention to Chinese classroom teaching while Chinese homework,a very important supplement of Chinese classroom teaching,is usually ignored,which leads to many problems concerning Chinese homework.In order to solve the problems of Chinese homework in rural middle schools in Northern Jiangsu province effectively,the author summarizes the existing problems of the designs and analyze the causes of them by investigating the present situation of Chinese homework in rural middle schools in Northern Jiangsu,on the basis of which,the author does some research on the countermeasures of Chinese homework design in rural middle schools.The paper is centered around the Chinese homework design in rural middle schools in Northern Jiangsu province.Five parts are included in the paper:Part1,Introduction.This paper begins by introducing the background of choosing the title and the meanings of the research.Then the author gives a summary of the present situation of the Chinese homework design both at home and abroad.After that,the author clarifies the necessity of further research.Finally,the author gives a clear definition of some related concepts.Part2,Theoretical bases of Chinese homework design.The authorr quotes the concept of core competence of Chinese subject,the theory of multiple intelligence,the zone of proximal development and earning by doing theory as the theoretical basis of Chinese homework design.Part3,The present situation of Chinese homework design in rural middle in Northern Jiangsu province.The author investigates the present situation of Chinese homework design in rural middle schools in northern Jiangsu province in the form of questionnaire and interview.In this way,the author summarizes the present problems of the designs and analyse the causes of the problems.Part4,Strategies.As to the problems mentioned above,the author puts forward some countermeasures of the designs of Chinese homework in rural middle schools according to some advanced theories and my teaching experience.Part5,Conclusion.In these part,the author further analyses the importance of the Chinese homework design in rural middle schools in Northern Jiangsu province.In addition,the author reconsiders the situation of my investigation.
