This paper studies the influence of leadership behavior of track and field coaches in colleges and universities of Changchun City on training performance,and takes all coaches(78)and athletes(78)in 22 colleges and universities that represent Changchun City to participate in the Jilin Provincial Student Track and Field Championships in 2019.Four hundred and eighty-four(484)were investigated by means of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.Through understanding the self-perceived leadership behavior of track and field coaches in colleges and universities in Changchun,and the athletes' perceived leadership behavior and athletes' training performance,this paper probes into the leadership behavior and athletes' training performance of track and field coaches.The relationship between the two.Finally,the following conclusions were drawn:1.The highest scores of self-perceived coach leadership behavior and athlete-perceived coach leadership behavior of track and field coaches in colleges and universities in Changchun are training and guidance behavior,followed by democratic behavior,and the lowest scores are autocratic behavior.2.There is a significant difference in the autocratic behavior when different gender track and field athletes perceive the coach's leadership behavior.The senior track and field athletes had more democratic behaviors and less authoritarian behaviors when they perceived the coach's leadership behavior.The athletes with high sports level have more democratic behaviors in perceiving the coach's leadership behavior and less perceptive training and guidance behaviors.The longer the training years are,the less the track and field athletes' perceptual training and coaching behaviors will be.However,once the training years exceed 9 years,the perceived rewarding behaviors will increase,and they will be more eager to get the social support behaviors of coaches.3.The three levels of training performance of track and field athletes in colleges and universities in Changchun are good.4.Track and field athletes of different grades have highly significant differences in the learning level and behavior level of training performance,and track and field athletesof different training years have highly significant differences in the behavior level of training performance5.The three levels of athletes' training performance evaluation have positive correlation with the training guidance behavior,reward behavior,democratic behavior and social support behavior of athletes' perception of coaches' leadership behavior respectively The level of response,the level of learning and the level of behavior are negative correlation in the evaluation of mobilization training performance.6.The training guidance behavior,democratic behavior and social support behavior of the track and field coaches have the greatest influence on the evaluation of the athletes' training performance,and the three kinds of leadership behaviors have a positive predictive power on the training performance;only the autocratic leadership behavior of the coaches has a high predictive power Behavior has a significant negative influence on the evaluation of athletes' training performance,and has a negative predictive power on athletes' training performance.
