Medical Social Work Intervention Research On Hospitalization Of Children With Leukemia

According to the latest cancer statistics report of 2018 China,the incidence of leukemia is the highest in children with malignant tumors,and the society pays more attention to children with leukemia.At present,there are few social work intervention studies for leukemia children,especially in the study of adaptation problems during the initial hospitalization.If the adaptation problem at the initial stage of admission is solved as soon as possible,it will have a good impact on the rehabilitation and family of the children.Under the guidance of the bio-psycho-social medical model theory,this article not only focuses on children with leukemia,but also extends the perspective to the caregivers of leukemia children.Through semi-structure interviews and participatory observations,it is found that the admission problems of leukemia patients are mainly concentrated in There are three aspects: physical,psychological,disease role and disease cognition,hospitalization environment,and interpersonal relationship maladaptation at the individual level;there are caregiver disease cognition,psychological emotion,family relationship,doctor-patient relationship,and role transformation maladaptation at the family level;The problem of insufficient social support.According to the problem of admission to hospital,the medical social workers of W Hospital in Qingdao use the professional methods of medical social work to intervene to promote hospital admission and improve the social support system.Through the professional evaluation methods such as the TCSQ scale for children and the CHIP scale for parents,it is considered that medical social workers play an active and effective role in promoting the adaptation of children with leukemia admission.This article reflects on the medical social workers’ intervention in the admission of leukemia children,explores the path of medical social workers involved in leukemia and family.
