A Research On The Current Developmental Condition Of The Medical Social Work In Urumqi City And Countermeasures

As economy grows,people’s living standard rises,the way people live,and as well as the medical treatments change,all of which lead to the development of medical social work.It is well known that obtaining medical service is getting difficult and expensive,causing tension between the doctors and patients.Introducing medical social work could tackle the problem.Throughout history,Xinjiang is developing at its best nowadays,however,the development of the medical social work is just at its primary stage.Due to the political,economic,cultural,social and environmental differences,the developmental pattern of medical social work in developed area cannot be directly brought in to Xinjiang.The study focuses on the current developmental condition of the medical social work in Urumqi city,and discusses how to ensure medical social work blend with both the hospital environment and the general strategic objective of Xinjiang in order to advance medical social work in Xinjiang.The study consists of introduction,text,and conclusion.The introduction presents the research background,reviews the current developmental condition of medical social work home and abroad,and elaborates the significance of the study.The text firstly defines relative concepts,provides theories and research method,and briefs the current developmental condition of medical social work during the past few years in Urumqi.The text then goes on to extend the current developmental condition of medical social work in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University as a successful example,based on which existing problems are analyzed.The text lastly states the current developmental condition of medical social work in the Child Care Medical Center in Shanghai,which are compared and contrasted with the current developmental condition of medical social work in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University to suggest creative and effective measures drawn on the experience of Shanghai to better the development of the medical social work in Urumqi.The conclusion offers the summary of the study,and points out its flaws.
