Analysis Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Xuebijing Injection In The Auxiliary Treatment Of Phlegm-heat And Lung-retained Community-acquired Pneumonia In The Elderly

Purpose:By using Xuebijing injection combined with conventional therapy of Western medicine to treat elderly community-acquired pneumonia,which are belong to the Syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung,the clinical symptoms and signs,the TCM syndromes total integral,curative effect of TCM syndrome,the curative effect of disease,arterial partial pressure of oxygen,partial pressure of arterial blood carbon dioxide and inflammatory factors were observed before and after treatment.To explore the efficacy of Xuebijing injection in treating elderly community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm and heat obstruction of lung.Method:A total of 96 elderly community-acquired pneumonia（syndrome of phlegm-heat obstructing lung）patients were admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Northern Theater Air Force Hospital from September 2017 to December 2018.The patients were randomly divided into control group（48 cases）and treatment group（48 cases）by using random number table method.After admission,all patients were given routine anti-infective therapy with western medicine,and the treatment group was treated with Xuebijing injection on this basis,The course of treatment is 7 days.After 7 days to observe and compare the change situation in two groups of the main symptoms（fever,cough,expectoration）,secondary symptoms（chest pain,shortness of breath,thirst,abdominal distension,dry stool）,signs（wet rales）,the total integral of TCM syndrome,curative effect of TCM syndrome,the curative effect of disease,arterial partial pressure of oxygen（PaO₂）,partial pressure of arterial blood carbon dioxide（PaCO₂）,peripheral blood leukocyte count（WBC）,erythrocyte sedimentation rate（ESR）,high sensitive C reactive protein（hs-CRP）,serum amyloid A（SAA）and serum procalcitonin（PCT）.Result:1.TCM syndrome integral:After 7 days of treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes and total scores in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment,and the degree of decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group（except abdominal distension and defecation）,there was statistical significance（P<0.05）.2.The effective rate of TCM symptoms:After 7 days of treatment,the excellence rate in the treatment group（70.00%）was higher than the control group（40.00%）,there was statistical significance（P<0.05）.3.The curative effect of disease:After 7 days of treatment,the excellence rate in the treatment group（57.50%）was higher than the control group（35.00%）,there was statistical significance（P<0.05）.4.Inflammation related index:After 7 days of treatment,the PaO₂,PaCO₂,WBC,ESR,hs-CRP and SAA in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment.And except for PCT,the improvement of observation indexes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,there was statistical significance（P<0.05）.5.Adverse reactions:There were no adverse reactions such as rash,nausea,vomiting and diarrhea in the treatment group and the control group.the treatment group and the control group in the course of treatment did not appear rash,nausea,vomiting,diarrhea and other adverse reactions,It shows that Xuebijing injection has high safety in clinical application.Conclusion:1.Xuebijing injection combined with conventional therapy of Western medicine in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm and heat obstruction of lung can relieve clinical symptoms,improve the quality of life and prognosis.2.Xuebijing injection combined with conventional therapy of Western medicine in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm and heat obstruction of lung can improve the partial pressure of blood oxygen and hypoxia state.3.Xuebijing injection combined with conventional therapy of Western medicine in the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm and heat obstruction of lung can significantly reduce the inflammation related indexes such as peripheral blood WBC,ESR,hs-CRP,SAA.And it can improve clinical efficacy.4.Xuebijing injection is effective and safe in treating elderly community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm and heat obstruction of lung.It has important clinical value.
