Clinical Observation Of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment In The Treatment Of Slow Transit Constipation

Purpose : This study observed the efficacy and safety of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment in treating slow transit constipation(spleen and kidney Yang deficiency).It provides a new way of thinking for the treatment of constipation,a more convenient and effective treatment method for the clinical treatment of functional constipationpaste prescription,and better services for the clinical.Material and method:From September 2017 to December 2018,we selected 90 patients in the outpatient department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine who met the criteria of "spleen and kidney Yang deficiency" syndrome of slow transit constipation.Envelope random method was applied in this experiment.It was divided into three groups: Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group,maren soft capsules group and Lactulose group.The Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was given Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment orally,twice a day,20 ml each time.The maren soft capsules group was given maren soft capsules orally,twice a day,1.2g each time.The lactulose group was given lactulose oral solution orally,2 times a day,15 ml each time.The three groups were given a 2 week course of treatment for a total of 2 courses.The scores of primary symptom,secondary symptom,total symptom and colonic transit test were recorded before and after treatment in the three groups,and then the data were analyzed to evaluate the efficacy and safety.The patients were followed up 2 months after the treatment.Results:1.After 2 courses of treatment,the scores of main symptom were compared,in terms of the difficulty of defecation and the time of defecation,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was compared with the maren soft capsules group and the lactulose group,P> 0.05.In terms of the frequency of defecation,the character of the stool,P<0.05.The scores of secondary symptom were compared,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was compared with the maren soft capsules group and the lactulose group,P<0.01,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group is best.The scores of total symptom were compared,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was compared with the maren soft capsules group and the lactulose group,P<0.01,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group is better.The colonic transit test markers were compared,P>0.05,the effect of the three groups was similar.2.The effective rate of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was 90%,the effective rate of maren soft capsules group was 73.33%,and the effective rate of lactulose group was 70%.Compared with the three groups,P<0.05,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was better than the maren soft capsules group and lactofructose group.3.During the test,no adverse reactions occurred in the three groups.4.After 2 months follow-up,the recurrence rate of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was10%,the maren soft capsule group was 30%,and that of lactulose group was 36.67%.Compared with the three groups,the recurrence rate of the three groups was p < 0.05,the scores of total symptom were compared,the Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was compared with the maren soft capsules group and the lactulose group,P<0.01,and the longterm effect of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment group was better.Conclusion:1.The Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with constipation,increase the output quantity of markers in colonic transit test,in particular,it has a significant effect on improving the symptoms of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency,such as pain of abdomen,soreness and tenderness in the waist and knees,the Limbs owe warmth,and long urination,it reflects the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine,It has exact curative effect.The recurrence rate is low,It fully shows the broad prospect of treating constipation with traditional Chinese medicine.2.The Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment has sweet taste,convenient storage and carrying,high acceptance to patients.It can judge the disease according to the combination of different symptoms,and treat the patients in an all-round way.The medicine is mild,especially suitable for the treatment of chronic diseases.It provides a unique dosage form for the treatment of constipation in traditional chinese medicine,It reflects the advantage of herbal pastes in treating constipation.
