| Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint embedding on slow transit constipation with spleenkidney yang deficiency and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of this method in the treatment of slow transit constipation. Methods:In a prospective randomized controlled study,60 patients with spleen-kidney yang deficiency evidence of slow transit constipation were randomly divided into 30 patients in the observation group and 30 patients in the control group, and the observation group was treated with acupuncture points and the control group was treated with mosapride citrate tablets for 4 weeks. The number of complete spontaneous bowel movements per week, constipation major symptom scores,TCM evidence scores, constipation patient survival quality scores before and at the end of treatment,as well as adverse reactions that occurred in the study, were recorded for efficacy evaluation and safety evaluation.Results:(1)A total of 60 subjects meeting the criteria were included,30 in the observation group and 30 in the control group. There were no statistical differences between the two groups in terms of gender, age, number of spontaneous bowel movements per week, constipation main symptom score,TCM symptom score, and constipation patient survival quality score(P>0.05),which were comparable.(2)Overall efficacy:After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 86.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%,and there was a statistical difference in the overall efficacy of the two groups(P<0.05).(3)CSBMs:The number of CSBMs per week was significantly improved in both groups(P<0.05),and the improvement of CSBMs per week in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(4)Major constipation symptom scores:in terms of total scores, the total scores of major constipation symptoms were effectively improved in both groups, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05);in terms of individual scores, the observation group effectively improved each individual symptom score(P<0.05),and the control group effectively improved the scores of frequency of defecation, stool properties, effort to defecate.and abdominal distension among the individual symptoms(P<0.05),and the observation group improved the scores of frequency of defecation, stool properties, effort to defecate, and abdominal distension among the individual symptoms(P<0.05).The observation group showed better improvement than the control group in terms of frequency of defecation, duration of defecation, and incomplete bloating(P<0.05).(5)TCM syndrome scores:in terms of total scores, the total TCM syndrome scores of both groups were effectively improved, and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05);in terms of individual scores, the observation group effectively improved the individual scores of TCM main symptoms and secondary symptoms(P<0.05),and the control group effectively improved the scores of difficulty in passing stool and dry stool in the main symptoms and the score of white face in the secondary symptoms(P<0.05),while the observation group improved the scores of difficulty in passing stool and dry stool in the main symptoms and the score of white face in the secondary symptoms(P<0.05).The observation group showed better improvement than the control group in terms of difficulty in discharge, dry stool in the main symptom and cold pain in the abdomen, clear and long urine, unheated limbs, and tongue signs in the secondary symptom(P<0.05).(6)PAC-QOL:the PAC-QOL in both groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the improvement of quality of survival in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(7)Safety evaluation:dizziness(1 case)and diarrhea(1 case)occurred in the control group and localized soreness(1 case)in the observation group during the treatment period, both of which resolved on their own. Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of acupuncture point burial treatment for slow transit constipation with spleen-kidney yang deficiency was better than that of the control group, and it was more advantageous in improving the number of complete spontaneous bowel movements per week.main symptoms of constipation,spleen-kidney yang deficiency symptoms and quality of survival with fewer adverse effects. |
