It's the core thought of contemporary language teaching philosophy that the best way of learning a language is using it.Under the influence of this thought,task-based teaching and activity teaching have become the main trend in the field of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages increasingly.Textbook is an important tool for classroom teaching and the quality of activity design in the textbook affects the teaching effectiveness and quality directly.Based on the literature review related to classroom activity design,this paper selects "Experiencing Chinese Speaking Course" 1-3 as the research objects,and mainly adopts the research method of qualitative analysis supplemented by quantitative analysis.According to the design and use of the activities in the textbook,the research dimension is established,and the activities involved in the textbook are statistically analyzed and investigated with the scale.This research tries to summarize the basic features of the activity design of"Experiencing Chinese Speaking Course" from the perspective of textbook compilation;to discuss the problems of activity design in this set of textbooks from the perspective of how to ensure the smooth implementation of classroom activities;to put forward some suggestions to improve the activity design in"Experiencing Chinese Speaking Course" and some other oral textbooks.This paper consists of five parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the reasons and significance of the topic selection,and summarizes the relevant literature;the second chapter mainly describes the research objects,research procedures and research methods;the third chapter mainly investigates and studies the design of the activities in"Experiencing Chinese Speaking Course" from the perspectives of quantity,activity type,and six elements of task;the fourth chapter is mainly about the investigation and research on the quality of activity design in this sets of textbooks from three aspects,activity organization,degree of communication,and mobilization of multiple intelligences;the fifth chapter is the conclusion of the study.
