Foreign Language Teaching Materials

In recent years,the number of foreign language students has gradually increased with the impact of globalization,which is accompanied by the diversity of students and the complexity of their cultural background.In the teaching process,several components are extremely important and all must be considered equally,such as the textbook,the teaching method,the individual needs and the cultural characteristics of the student.The requirements for the personalization and specialization of foreign language textbooks are also increasing.In the past,we preferred universal textbooks and the teaching model on which they were based was relatively simple.At present,in the new situation,this method is becoming increasingly difficult to adapt to changes in the situation of foreign language teaching.Our theme creates opportunities to think about the relationship established between the production of didactic material used in class and the development of pedagogical activities in order to create a communicative environment in a relatively closed space.Although this work focuses mainly on teaching Portuguese as a foreign language,some discussions can also be an asset for teaching Chinese abroad.This thesis will aim to analyze the concept of teaching material,the cultural transmission of teaching materials,the location of textbooks,as well as presenting a general classification of the summary of lessons and the teaching plan for teaching and some aspects of the preparation of the material textbook selection and didactic book selection in foreign language teaching.The author will start by reflecting on one of the definitions of the textbook adopted in the area of teaching and the implications for its production that serves to open a more communicative environment.
