Group Work Is Involved In The Study Of The Spiritual Comfort Of The Elderly Accompanying Migrants

With more than 40 years of reform and opening up,the process of urbanization has been moving forward,and many young people have left their homes to live in a new environment.Their parents have to leave their old residence to live in a new city with their children because they help take care of the third generation or provide for the aged.When these old people come to the new environment,their lives also face many problems: how to enrich their lives,where to buy food,how to familiarize themselves with the streets and traffic nearby,how to deal with the contradictions when they get along with their children,and how to adapt themselves to the fast-paced urban life.For the elderly,great environmental changes make their spiritual comfort more important.C Community is a residential community that covers an area of hundreds of thousands of flats.The continuous opening of the city has enabled many young people to live here.With the arrival of more and more newborn babies,the parents of young people come here to help their children take care of their lives.Taking the community as the research site,the author surveys the spiritual comfort of 100 elderly people and finds that they are in urgent need of cultural entertainment,social interaction and emotional support.As an attempt,the author selected 10 elderly migrants to conduct in-depth interviews.Taking Maslow's demand level theory,social support theory,and dominant perspective theory as the theoretical basis for the group's work intervention,the group's work method was used to carry out Six activities including "At first sight,we met" ? "Cultivating interest and stimulating self-potential" ? " Looking back at life and building an advantage snowball " ? " A day trip to the community " ? " last rays of the setting sun,Help Love Communication " ? "Thank you for having you to rekindle life's hope.",These six group activities help elderly migrants solve mental comfort problems.The intervention of group work and follow-up visits show that the spiritual comfort problems of the elderly migrants have been effectively improved: entertainment life has become diversified,the content is more colorful,the scope of social interaction has been expanding,the ways of social interaction have increased,the new environment and new life can be actively explored and adapted,and the mentality has become more positive and healthy.The elderly migrants are a huge group.Their spiritual comfort is not only related to their personal quality of life,but also to their family harmony.The method of group work intervention is currently an attempt.Its application scope needs to be further expanded,and other aspects of social support need more attention.
