The purpose of this research is to test that combined strength training(functional strength training mainly supplemented by traditional strength training)can more effectively improve the specific physical fitness of male table tennis players aged 13-15 than traditional strength training.The test method and experimental method are mainly used for the study.The test subjects are 20 male table tennis amateur sports school athletes.The test indicators are sensitive(2.5m side slip step),strength(grip strength,weight-bearing half squat,bench press,standing long jump),Speed(30s fast arm flexion,60 m run,1min fast swing),endurance(45s skip rope,3000 m run).The results showed that the performance of the experimental group in the 2.5m side slip,45 s skipping and3000 m running improved significantly(p<0.05),while the 1min rapid swing,30 s rapid flexion of arms and other indicators did not improve significantly(p> 0.05);the control group's performance in 60 s running,standing long jump and weight-bearing half-squat was more significant(p <0.05),and the results of 1min rapid swing and 30 s rapid arm flexion did not improve significantly.Conclusion:(1)Functional training can effectively improve the special physical fitness of young table tennis players with a training background of 3 years or more in a short time.In the process of special quality training of young table tennis players,functional strength training actions can replace some of the overloaded resistance resistance training actions to adapt to the special "window period" of the development of special quality of young athletes.(2)Functional strength training can effectively improve the muscle's rapid contraction strength,displacement speed and sensitive quality,but it does not significantly increase the movement speed and absolute strength of the lower limbs.Traditional resistance training is very significant for improving the absolute strength of the lower limbs.Suggestions:(1)In special physical training,the different effects of traditional resistance training and functional strength training on special qualities should be considered,and selective training should be carried out.Or combine functional strength training with traditional strength training to explore in detail how the combination can optimize the growth of the young ping pong players specific physical fitness.(2)For the special training of short-distance displacement speed,explosive force and sensitive quality,functional training can be used to supplement traditional resistance training.The role of traditional resistance training for absolute strength training is undeniable,but pay attention to the adjustment of exercise load to reduce Sports Injury.
