High silicon steel is characterized by its high magnetic induction,low iron loss and low hysteresis expansion coefficient,which is in wide use in electronics and military fields.Under the condition of high frequency,owing to its reduced core loss and noise,high silicon steel is suitable to the manufacture of high frequency transformer and generator core,and it's also one of the key materials to reduce energy conservation and emissions in electronics field.Under the condition of high frequency,eddy current loss in the surface is the main source of iron loss of high silicon steel,however,composite high silicon steel can form gradient induced magnetic field from the surface to the center,which changes the eddy current distribution caused by skin effect,giving full play to high resistivity in the high silicon layer to significantly decrease the eddy current loss.Based on the rolling method,a research is done in the paper on the evolution of microstructure and texture of high silicon steel thin sheets when the carbon content is between 0.09%and 0.13%,and it also analyzes and makes a comparison of the influence of normalizing and cold rolling ratio on the evolution of microstructure and texture.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Carbon has a remarkable influence on microstructure and texture of high silicon steel.With the increase of carbon content,the microstructure of middle layer is obviously refined after hot rolling;the density of shear bands increases after cold rolling,the intensity of ? fiber is enhanced;the microstructure of middle layer is obviously refined during the primary recrystallization,and the Cube fiber is enhanced.For high silicon steel with carbon content between 0.09%and 0.13%,the secondary recrystallization occurs in 950 ? on slow heating stage,among which Cube and ? grains grow in size obviously.(2)The size of abnormal grew up grain can reach the level of mm,when the secondary recrystallization occurs for the high silicon steel with carbon,but the development of secondary recrystallization is not perfect due to the influence of collocation among different nitriding parameters.(3)Hot rolling can achieve a good metallurgical bonding for the interface of composite high silicon steel.There are big differences of shape and energy storage of hot rolled deformation grains between high silicon layer and low silicon layer.The recrystallization texture of high silicon layer are mainly made up by strong ?fiber and strong ? fiber after normalizing,but for low silicon layer,y fiber is the main strong one.(4)The shear bands with different sizes and densities appear in high silicon layer and low silicon layer with different cold rolling reduction ratios.When the ratios are 55%and 65%,the shear bands have long size and high density.With the increase of ratio,the size is shorter and density is lower.The recrystallization texture of cold rolled bands after annealing at different layers are strong y fiber with 55%and 65%rolling ratios.
