In recent years,with the rapid development of industries such as smart home appliances,automobile manufacturing,and food canning,and at the same time,downstream customers have gradually increased the quality of strips.As one of the quality indicators of cold-rolled sheet products,the shape of steel is still the focus of attention.The poor strip quality of the strip of the cold tandem rolling mill will not only affect the product qualification rate of the cold tandem rolling mill,but also increase the probability of defects such as deviations,deflections and even broken strips in the subsequent continuous strip furnace.In this way,in order to improve the strip quality of the cold tandem rolling mill product and the production efficiency of the subsequent continuous withdrawal mill,the 2030 cold tandem rolling mill is specifically used as the research object,from the shape modeling,the analysis of the existing shape control capability of the mill,the optimization of shape control and the formulation of shape control specifications,researches have been made on and have obtained good results and great economic benefits in actual production.Firstly,considering the characteristics of 2030 cold tandem rolling mill equipment and production process,combined with the actual strip profile data obtained from the actual tracking measurement on site,the 2030 cold tandem rolling mill shape model was briefly introduced,and the " Shape Prediction Software for 2030 Cold Tandem Rolling Mill" was compiled.And use the shape prediction software to quantitatively analyze the influence of roll bending force,roll shift amount,tilt roll amount and roll crown on the shape.Then,by testing the selected 2030 cold tandem rolling mill's typical and limit specification products,the shape control ability of the 2030 cold tandem rolling mill to the typical and limit specification products was analyzed.Finally,it is concluded that the mill has a weak control of the shape of the limit specification product.The conclusion has laid the foundation for the subsequent optimization of the shape control strategy for the cold tandem rolling mill.And then,combined with the equipment and process characteristics of 2030 cold tandem rolling mill,based on the shape model of the cold tandem rolling mill,taking into account the strip crown change during the cold tandem rolling process,and taking the optimal shape of the exit as the control target,using the adjustable process parameters of the mill as control variables,a set of shape optimization control technologies suitable for the 2030 cold tandem rolling mill was developed.Finally,based on the development of the “2030 Cold Tandem Rolling Mill Profile Optimization Control Software”,a set of cold strips rolling profile control specifications were formed and applied to actual production of 2030 cold tandem rolling mill,and good results were obtained.The accuracy of the strip shape of the mill has been greatly improved,and the incidence of deviations and edge rubbing accidents in the subsequent continuous strip furnace has been greatly reduced,and good economic benefits have been obtained.
