In recent years,as our country has comprehensively strengthened ecological environment protection,with the continuous strengthening of energy conservation and emission reduction and the gradual adjustment of the energy structure,China’s LNG industry has developed rapidly,the state has clearly gradually cultivated natural gas as one of the main energy sources of our country’s modern clean energy system,and proposed to increase the proportion of natural gas in primary energy consumption by 2030.From this point of view,our country’s natural gas consumption has a strong room for development,and demand is showing a rapid growth trend.It is estimated that the demand gap for natural gas in the next few years will reach 100 billion cubic meters.The huge supply gap may be filled by LNG to promote the development of the industry.However,the LNG industry is a monopolistic industry,with high thresholds and large investments,and high barriers to entry for small and medium-sized enterprises.LNG tank containers have incomparable advantages in reducing industry thresholds,eliminating monopolies,expanding small and medium-sized LNG users,and creating new gas supply methods.However,due to many factors such as the high comprehensive cost,poor coordination and operational efficiency of LNG tank container value chain operations,the realization of the commercialization and large-scale operation of the LNG tank container value chain has become one of the key research topics in recent years.At present,there are many domestic and foreign researches on value chain reconstruction and operation,however,most of them are in the field of multimodal transportation,oppositely,few researches on the value chain operation of LNG tank containers.This article selects S energy enterprise as the research object,and an empirical study was conducted on the operation and reconstruction of the enterprise LNG tank container value chain.S energy enterprise is a state-owned enterprise with a short establishment time.It mainly focuses on the clean energy value chain to develop its business layout.It is currently operating the LNG tank container value chain as a quick entry point into the LNG industry.The core advantage of S energy enterprise is ocean transportation.However,in the process of value chain operation,due to the inability to grasp and control the core resources of each link,enterprises are faced with many problems such as poor synergy,low efficiency,and high cost.The article starts from the theory of value chain,through investigation,comparative research,case analysis and other research strategies,analyzed the current situation of S energy enterprise LNG tank container value chain management and the existence of the chain main enterprise in the process of commercial operation of the value chain,as well as the problems of LNG tank container chain.This article concluded that the main enterprise in LNG tank container chain should reconstruct the value chain based on the value chain management and other related theories,and proposed the path of the chain’s main enterprise should take to restructure the value chain,that is,to decompose the value chain goal and task,analyze the functions of each link,find out the distribution of key resources,screen relevant participants,integrate the value chain,and realize the "five flows into one";design the restructured value chain operating mechanism.The article also proposed that through the adopting improved collaborative services,innovating terminal applications,building operating platforms,using capital power,and building industry standards and other safeguards,main enterprise in the chain can establish "five-flow integration",including information flow,logistics,trade flow,capital flow,and service flow.This is different from traditional multimodal transport.These suggestions will help chain owners integrate upstream and downstream resources,unite the strengths of all parties in the value chain,and jointly solve many problems at this stage,and help chain owners improve the efficiency of value chain operations through corresponding operations,and then to reduce operating costs,and cultivate the comprehensive competitive advantage of main enterprises in the LNG tank container value chain.This article has a certain reference significance and promoting effect for the research in fields such as accelerating the transformation and climbing of the value chain of small and medium-sized energy enterprises,and realizing the transformation to the deep extension of the value chain.It is also useful for popularizing new gas supply methods for small and medium consumer markets,expanding natural gas utilization,as well as promoting the healthy development of China’s natural gas market.
