With the increasing of refractory ore and fierce competition of market,it is very important to improve the efficiency of mineral processing equipment,as well as for reducing production cost during the process of mineral processing.Although the traditional flotation techniques and flotation equipment have been very mature,still exist some difficulties and problems,such as too large of flotation cell,resulting in partial adsorption between the flotation reagent and the pulp,And the larger dosage,more difficult to improve the efficacy of using reagent.Therefore,it is particularly important to add the pre-processing device before flotation to realize the complete mineralization and dispersion of flotation minerals,improve flotation technology and reduce flotation reagent.Because of current situation of mineral separation,this paper design a new pre-processing device for atomization flotation,which uses atomization atomizer,atomized the flotation reagent.And in order to achieve the purpose of sizemixing and pre-flotating,fully mixture is necessary.In this paper,the pre-processing device is systematical studied by theoretical analysis,computer simulation and experiment.At the same time,we researched the automatic control system.(1)We used Solid Works,a 3D software,to design the 3D model of atomization atomizer's general structure and the main structure;Explored the flow characteristics of atomization atomizer under different gas and liquid pressure by the comprehensive experiment platform;Researched the numerical simulation of the inner flow field and downstream fog droplets using FLUENT software.By simulating different pressure,velocity,size of fog droplets,etc.,it is found that the flow rate and spray conditions are quite different under different conditions.(2)We used Solid Works software to design and modeling the pre-processing device's general structure and the main structure;On the other hand,researched the numerical simulation of pre-processing device's general structure's inner flow field using FLUENT software.By simulating different pressure,velocity,etc.,we chosed the best internal structure.(3)Based on the numerical model,we designed a pre-processing device of atomization flotation for laboratory,and studied the influence of various factors on the flotation.(4)We carried out the industrial experiments choosing the ideal atomization atomizer and best internal structure at the phosphate ore flotation workshop of Hubei Sanning Chemical Co.,Ltd.The experiment results showed that the efficiency of flotation had been greatly improved,and we saved the amount of flotation reagent.(5)Based on the actual situation,we designed a system,which controlled by closed PID.We can set reagent flow via the master computer and control variable-frequency drive via PLC.Then we can accurately control the reagent's dose,and ensure the normal operation of pre-processing device.
