Automobile industry is an important pillar industry of national economy.Automobile manufacturing is generally divided into four major processes: stamping,body welding,painting and final assembly.The highest degree of automation and equipment complexity of the four processes is the body welding line.With the upgrading of automobile consumption,the multivariety and small-batch collinear production puts forward higher requirements on the flexibility of automobile body automation line and the stability and safety of control system.This paper mainly studies the design and development of the body welding automation control system,and the second set of the main body outer line is taken as the object to starts the research work,details are as follows:Firstly,the process function of the second set of the main body outer line is introduced in detail,and the demand analysis of the control system is carried out.The functional requirements and control flow of connecting equipment,welding equipment,industrial robots,body identification equipment,conveying equipment and control equipment are studied.According to the demand of cycle time and the requirement of comprehensive operation,the design cycle time of this system is studied,and the types and quantities of various equipment are determined,which lays a foundation for the development of the system.Secondly,the architecture of the second set of system of the main body outer line is designed,and the power supply system planning,network structure planning,IP address planning and IO address planning are introduced in detail.Additionally,the design and development of the control system is studied,which is divided into PLC program and industrial robot control program design and development.In view of the PLC program design and development,mainly from the program structure design,hardware,safety program,functional program design and development and other aspects of the program design and development process in detail.Finally,the design and development of the robot,the structure design of main program of robot and the control and realization of welding gun and riveting equipment of subordinate equipment of industrial robot are introduced in detail.
