In recent years,China's textile industry has developed steadily,which has greatly promoted the development of textile machinery industry.As an important part of textile machinery,the domestic stock market has reached relative saturation and the demand is temporarily stable.With the increase of domestic labor cost and the pressure brought by the entry of foreign capital to the local tufting machine industry,the design and manufacturing level of local tufting machine needs to be improved urgently.As a local textile machinery company,W company's tufting machine equipment still lags behind foreign-funded equipment in terms of machine performance,adaptability,appearance recognition and human-computer interaction.In order to gain a foothold in the domestic and even international market,it is necessary to further redesign the products and strengthen the competitiveness of the enterprise while improving user satisfaction.This research is an improved design project based on the color dot tufting model under the brand of W company.It focuses on the improvement and innovation of the yarn guide system of the tufting machine by using the topology optimization design method,mainly to solve the vibration problem caused by the height limit of the plant and the high center of gravity of the equipment.Through field visits to a number of tufting factories and carpet manufacturers in China,the mapping of tufting machine was completed,and the industrial workers were divided into female dominated operators and male dominated constructors according to different operation characteristics.According to their age distribution,the unreasonable man-machine relationship of yarn guide system was optimized and the mechanical height was reduced with the help of corresponding ergonomic percentile table,The angle between the yarn guide unit surface and the stairs is adjusted to make it more suitable for personnel operation,and the solution of the separated yarn guide system is established.Then,the typical modeling elements in the existing tufting machine product series of W company are refined by morphological analysis method,and the area of the mask of the yarn guide device is deduced by shape grammar to delimit the non design area,so as to ensure the appearance recognition and realize lightweight at the same time.Finally,on the basis of the general layout improvement scheme,with the help of the topology optimization aided design plug-in ameba of the grasshopper platform,the topology optimization calculation is carried out for the shielding parts of the yarn guide device and the structural parts of the yarn guide system respectively.In this process,the postprocessing idea of comprehensively using the methods of voxel modeling and subdivision modeling to complete the transformation from the finite element mesh model to the CAD model is proposed,and the optimization results are input into the Hyper Works platform to complete the simulation analysis and verification,The beam structure that can carry the motor and yarn guide device at the same time is obtained,and the lightweight achieved through topology optimization realizes the solution of the separated yarn guide system.Then,with the opinions of the expert group and engineers,further refine and improve the assembly scheme of the tufting machine,and complete the three-dimensional model effect display of the supporting scheme of the tufting machine.
