Design Of Electrode Length Measuring Device For Submerged Arc Furnace

In submerged arc furnace production,as the core equipment,the intelligent real-time measurement of the length of electrode paste medium and graphitized electrode medium is still blank.At present,most of the methods of manual measurement are used to measure the length of electrode.In the improvement of industrial production,intelligent instruments can be used instead of manual measurement,so a device for measuring electrode length of submerged arc furnace is designed.It is based on ultrasonic technology,and its purpose is to measure the length of multilayer medium of self baking electrode in calcium carbide production.This paper mainly designs the electrode length measuring device of submerged arc furnace.Because of the multi porosity of the measured submerged arc furnace medium and the different shapes of multi-layer medium,the sound wave is attenuated.Firstly,an ultrasonic launching system is designed by using ultrasonic magnetostrictive transducer,which can improve the sound pressure of the launching system.In this system,the vibration model of magnetostrictive material shows that the vibration displacement of magnetostrictive material is proportional to the exciting current;The convex concave resonant cavity and the combined focusing device with variable focus are designed.Secondly,in the hardware circuit system of electrode length measuring device of submerged arc furnace,the power amplifier circuit and impedance matching circuit of acoustic excitation signal,the main power supply circuit and signal processing amplifier circuit of the device are designed.Finally,the algorithm of automatic gain amplification and demodulation is designed,and the identification method of demodulation signal is given.When the excitation source is 1.3A,the theoretical value of sound pressure is up to230 d B.The measuring system designed in this system can measure complex electrodes,and can measure 10-15 m.
