Analysis Method And Construction Of Multi Scale Landscape Ecological Security Patterns

The development of society and economy and the increasing population have exerted great pressure on the ecosystem,resulting in environmental problems such as shrinking vegetation area,habitat fragmentation,pollution and biodiversity degradation,which reduces the welfare level of people’s life and affects the sustainable development of society.The ecological security pattern has established the important ecological sources and corridors for the flow and exchange of material and energy in the region,which can minimize the harmful effects of human activities on the environment.The establishment of ecological security pattern can effectively maintain the normal operation of the ecosystem,ensure ecological security,and regulate the balanced development of economy and ecological environment.Ecological security pattern can identify the important ecological land.The size and distribution of ecological land are different in different scale study area,so we can grasp their inherent law only by investigating and studying them in continuous scale sequence.In the New Era,China has carried out major reforms in the control of territorial space,the implementation of planning,and the overall planning of various programs,changed the way territorial space is governed,and put forward territorial space planning theory,the construction of ecological civilization should be taken as an important content of the national strategic policy,and the planning should realize the level and link between the upper planning and the lower planning.Therefore,under the land spatial planning system,the construction of ecological security pattern needs to consider the transformation and convergence on the spatial scale.This paper constructs the ecological security pattern from three scales of province,city and county,the paper differentiates the multiple benefits of ecological space on three scales:province,city and county.The ecological security functions should be focused on the larger scale,and the ecosystem services provided by human beings should be focused on the smaller scale,so as to preliminarily construct the three-level ecological security pattern.A series model is adopted to connect the three-level ecological security pattern,and the results of the construction of the ecological security pattern at the higher level are applied to the lower level,so as to improve it.The differences between the convergence results of multi-scale ecological security pattern and the construction of single-scale ecological security pattern were discussed through several landscape indicators.The results show that the ecological source area of Zhejiang Province is large,and the area of provincial ecological source area in Ningbo city accounts for 23.14%of the total area of Ningbo city,and there are9 ecological corridors in Ningbo.After the provincial and municipal ecological source areas were added to the single-scale ecological security pattern in Zhenhai District,the ecological source areas in Ningbo were expanded to 65.24 km~2,an increase of 16.54km~2 over the previous ones.In Zhenhai,there are no provincial corridors and most of the municipal corridors are located in the ecological source areas of Northern Zhenhai District.the provincial and municipal level source areas are distributed in the northwest region.After compounding,the ecological source area of Zhenhai District increased by1.9km~2,and the ecological corridor increased by 3.47km.Compared with the single scale ecological security pattern,the corridor of ecological security pattern constructed by multi-scale series connection is more efficient,closely linked and more stable.The results of the study promote the regional ecological integrity,and provide a targeted method support for the realization of multi-level eco-spatial governance.It can accurately identify the ecological space that plays an important ecological function,as well as the areas with urgent needs for ecological space,and provide specific guidance for the demarcation of ecological protection areas and the implementation of mountain,water,forest,farmland,lake and grass regulation projects.
