Inventory management plays an important role in the operation of enterprise.Inventory management can be classified into raw material management,WIP management and finished products management.Good inventory management can guarantee the manufacture and delivery of products in time,and is helpful to raise the satisfaction level of customer and competition level of enterprise.In the inventory of X soda ash company,there are some problems such as unreasonable process design,unsmooth operation procedure,Lack of systematic process supervision etc.,which affect the capital recycling and manufacture operation of the company seriously.This thesis is based on the finished products inventory of X soda ash,firstly,it describes the procedures of finished products storage process,maintain process,outgoing process and the inventory data verification process,on this basis,analyze the above processes in value chain,and the problems turn out to be low efficiency in storage process,lacking standardization in storage slot allocation,unsmooth delivery process during outgoing process,lacking supervision during outgoing process,imperfection in the current information system of the company;Secondly,it uses performance importance matrix method to identify three key processes,the customer picking-up process,outgoing supervision process and the slot allocating process,and make analysis in Process Procedure Analysis method;Thirdly,based on the above three result,optimize the processes in slot allocating,customer picking-up and outgoing supervision,.Slot allocating process optimizes the allocating standard and lower down the inventory expense;customer picking-up process optimizes the picking-up operation procedure,reduces vehicle congestion and improves the picking-up efficiency;Outgoing supervision process optimizes the supervision standard,strengthens the prevention in advance and reduces the claims from the customers.Finally,corresponding measures are put forward in the aspects of business related department process support,training and organization management,company regulations and information application.This thesis has reference value for improving the efficiency of inventory organization and company operation of X soda ash products.
