With the rapid development of information technology and the rise of the Internet economy,the overall development level of e-commerce in my country has maintained an increasing trend year by year.The development of e-commerce is inseparable from the support of the logistics industry.In the context of low-carbon development,controlling the carbon emissions of the logistics industry is the key task of energy conservation and emission reduction in my country.The increase in the volume of ecommerce trade will directly affect the carbon emissions of the logistics industry.This paper uses provincial panel data from 2013 to 2019 to empirically test the development level of e-commerce and the carbon emissions of logistics industry,and introduces the mediation effect model to study the influence degree and mechanism of e-commerce development on the change of carbon emissions of logistics industry.According to the empirical research results,policy suggestions are provided for the low-carbon development of e-commerce and logistics industry in China.The main research contents of this paper include:(1)Understand the development status of e-commerce industry and logistics industry through data statistical analysis,and use Arc GIS 10.2 software to carry out spatial visualization analysis of e-commerce development level,logistics industry carbon emissions,freight turnover and express business volume in 2013 and 2019,and intuitively present the spatial differences of variables;(2)Through Stata15.0 software,the data processing and testing of the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2019 are carried out to study whether the development of e-commerce has an impact on the change of carbon emissions of the logistics industry from the perspective of empirical analysis;(3)Study the influence mechanism of e-commerce development on carbon emissions of logistics industry by establishing the mediation effect model.The results show that :(1)The development of e-commerce has a significant impact on the carbon emissions of logistics industry,and the continuous expansion of e-commerce scale will increase the pressure of carbon emissions of logistics industry;(2)The development of e-commerce has an intermediary effect on the carbon emissions of the logistics industry.Both express business volume and freight turnover have a significant positive correlation with the output value of e-commerce,which will affect the change of the carbon emissions of the logistics industry.The innovation points of this paper are as follows :(1)This paper uses Arc GIS 10.2software to conduct spatial visualization analysis of Chinese provincial data in 2013 and 2019,and finds that the spatial distribution of e-commerce development level and logistics industry carbon emissions is not balanced;(2)Based on the provincial panel data from 2013 to 2019,this paper combined the output value of e-commerce with the carbon emissions of the logistics industry to conduct empirical analysis and found that the development of e-commerce has a significant impact on the change of carbon emissions of the logistics industry;(3)This paper establishes a mediating effect model,and takes the volume of express business and freight turnover as the mediating variables,and finds that the mediating variables have a mediating effect on the impact of ecommerce development on the carbon emissions of logistics industry.
