Faculty and staff in colleges and universities undertake the important tasks of teaching, scientific research, and cultivating talents. They are the country’s precious human resources.Therefore,in-depth understanding of their health status and analysis of the influencing factors of frequent diseases will help formulate scientific prevention and treatment methods to improve the health of the group, thereby supporting the development of education, science and technology, and the revitalization of the country.Based on the medical examination data of the faculty and staff of a college in Guangxi in 2019,this article performed a statistical analysis and data mining of the health of the faculty and staff of the university.First,a descriptive statistics analysis on the physical signs, abnormal indicators, and frequent diseases of the faculty and staff were performed;then this article performed text mining on the text of various ultrasound examinations by removing stop words and word segmentation to obtain word cloud images, and analyze the results of various ultrasound examinations in sequence based on the text situation; Then this paper made an in-depth analysis of the frequent diseases of the faculty and staff in colleges and universities, explore the influencing factors of the frequent diseases of the faculty and staff through Logistic regression, and explored the relationship between the frequent diseases through the association rules; Finally, factor analysis was used to construct the health evaluation index of the faculty and staff physical examination data, relying on the index scores to perform K-Means clustering, and divide the faculty and staff participating in the physical examination into different health level categories,The following analysis results can be obtained :The study found that among the faculty and staff in universities, the highest to lowest prevalence of diseases were hyperuricemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, anemia, and obesity.Frequent for the first four diseases, analysis of the factors affecting found women with high uric acid hematic disease probability is higher than men,men who blood triglycerides probability is higher than female, age the faculty of the greater the risk of high blood triglycerides and the higher the probability of relative high blood pressure, body mass index(BMI),the higher the employees are more likely to develop high blood triglycerides and high blood pressure these three diseases;By the frequent diseases and the association rules between overweight, obesity, higher BMI to the standard of obesity, high uric acid hematic disease likely to follow, after staff are more likely to suffer from high blood diseases, and high blood triglycerides.Cluster analysis of the index scores showed that the health of the school’s staff accounted for 32%,sub-health accounted for49.6%,unhealthy accounted for 18.4%,the overall health of the school’s staff is not ideal.Through the above analysis of the medical examination data, the influencing factors and the correlation of the frequent diseases of the faculty and staff in the university were found, and the health status of the faculty and staff was clearly understood. These analysis results have great guiding significance for both the faculty and medical staff of the university. The university also needs to develop reasonable and effective health warning mechanisms for people with different health conditions, and guide the key population to carry out frequent disease knowledge lectures and major disease screening regularly.
