Bi-directional Relationship Between Type D Personality And Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Objective:To analyze the influence of type D personality on the weight loss effect of laparoscopic gastric sleeve resection,and to explore the relationship between laparoscopic gastric sleeve resection and the change of type D personality.Methods:A retrospective method was used to select obese patients who underwent laparoscopic sleeve gastric resection in our hospital from January 2019 to December2019,and group them according to the test results of the Type D Personality Scale(DS-14)and follow-up Record the weight and body mass index(BMI)changes of the patients before and after the operation,calculate the percentage total weight loss(%TWL),and compare and analyze the correlation between D-type and non-D-type personality patients at 1 year after operation The index changes and the improvement of Type D personality score were considered statistically significant at P<0.05.Results:A total of 81 patients were included in this study.All patients underwent LSG surgery.There were no cases of conversion to laparotomy and death.Among them,there were 22 cases in the D-personality group and 59 cases in the non-D-personality group.The two groups of patients were in gender,age,There were no significant differences in height,preoperative weight and body mass index(BMI)(P>0.05).The postoperative weight,BMI and other indicators of patients with type D personality and non-D personality were significantly lower than those before operation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative body weight and BMI of D personality were higher than those of non-D personality.The %TWL of D personality group was significantly lower than that of non D personality group(P<0.001).The postoperative NA and SI dimension scores in the D-type personality group were(11.7±6.5)and(10.2±5.7)respectively,which were significantly lower than those before surgery,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion: Type D personality affects the effect of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy,and the weight loss effect of obesity patients with non-D personality is better than that of D personality.Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy can affect type D personality to a certain extent and improve the D personality scores of patients.
