| Objective:Using Wenyang Jianpi Huoxue Prescription to treat non-dementia vascular cognitive impairment(VCIND)syndrome belongs to patients with deficiency of Spleen-Yang and blockage of blood stasis. To explore the pathogenesis of VCIND caused by deficiency of spleen-yang,and to observe the clinical efficacy,in order to prove the effectiveness of warming yang, invigorating spleen and activating blood therapy in the treatment of VCIND,and to open up a new way for the treatment of VCIND by traditional Chinese medicine. Methods:Sixty eligible patients were randomly divided into two groups, each with 30 cases. In basic treatment, the experimental group was given Wenyang Jianpi Huoxue Prescription, hospital Decoction method, one dose a day;the control group was given Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets(Areson)5 mg before bedtime. After 24 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome scores,Mo CA,MMSE and ADL scales were observed to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups. Results:Due to the poor compliance and voluntary withdrawal of the participants,52 patients were actually included,25 in the control group and 27 in the experimental group, respectively.Statistical analysis showed that the total clinical effective rate of the experimental group(74.07%)was significantly better than that of the control group(48.00%).Except for the score of MMSE scale, compared with the control group, all the other clinical observation indicators improved significantly after treatment, and no abnormal safety indicators were found. Conclusion: For patients with VCIND,both groups have clinical efficacy. The improvement of cognitive ability,TCM syndromes and daily living ability of patients treated with Wenyang Jianpi Huoxue method is obviously better than that of the control group, which can be safely applied in clinical practice. |
